My career as a doctor was deeply rooted in medical research where I managed clinical trials testing new medicines and interventions  at the forefront of medical research. 


This experience provided me with a profound understanding of human physiology, how to monitor and interpret it, and  and how various interventions can optimise health.

I retired from my medical practice to follow my passion for health and fitness. 


I am uniquely qualified to offer exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions; particularly for those living with  with obesity, diabetes, and other health conditions. 


My qualifications in sports and exercise nutrition further enhance my ability to support clients effectively.

I specialise in 'retirement planning for your body' using personalised exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching for men over 50, who don't want to be 'normal or average'.

Having transitioned from a medical career to fitness, I bring a unique perspective to my coaching. I’m older than most trainers, with extensive medical experience and a passion for health and  fitness. 


As a fit and active Ironman triathlete and ultramarathon runner in my 60's, I understand the nuances of health and fitness in older men from both a scientific and practical viewpoint, and how it pertains to healthspan and longevity.


Having spent 35 years working at the forefront of medicine and science developing new medicines, I follow a scientifically based, data driven, goal orientated approach to achieve results for professional men over 50 who don't want to be 'normal or average'.
